The SMART VMS is a graphics capable message sign trailer. It includes 199 pre-programmed messages and you can create up to 199 user-defined messages. Travel and set up are easy with the new hydraulic capability that allows the sign to be easily raised and lowered. The LED display swivels 360° making it less wind resistant during travel, reducing drag and saving fuel. Additional benefits include voluntary speed compliance, community support, and invaluable traffic statistics. This All-LED, full matrix display utilizes 30° ITE amber LEDs that provide outstanding legibility during all weather, daylight, and nighttime conditions. The SMART VMS is available in three models, each offering a different size LED display panel.

Standard features include a directional radar unit, amber violator alert, over-speed blanking, and an axle/wheel lock. Optional features include a solar panel with an additional battery bank, a security alarm, a spare tire and the SMARTStat traffic statistics computer. SMARTStat offers statistics on cars vs. time, cars vs. speed, speed vs. time, and much more! It’s the most versatile Windows-compatible computer available for gathering traffic data.
